01 / A room first

The cabinet looks like furniture before the theater appears.

A made-to-order Aegis cabinet keeps the projector, screen, wiring, and AV equipment out of sight.

The screen rises. The room becomes a theater.

A large-format image appears without a permanent television or screen claiming the wall.

Then the screen returns to the cabinet.

The technology disappears. The view, the wall, and the room belong to you again.

Standard filtered cooling

Cool, filtered air—delivered where your projector and AV equipment need it.

Cooling is configured around your projector and AV equipment. Filtered air feeds the projector intake while two exhaust fans remove heat. Optional monitored AV-compartment cooling draws filtered air through floor vents and actively exhausts heat, helping keep the entire system clean and protected.

Engineered into the cabinet—not added afterward.

How an Aegis project works

How we design the right system
for your room.

You tell us what you want the room to do. Aegis helps choose the cabinet, verifies the projector and screen, and checks the complete technical fit before production.

01

Choose the cabinet type

Start with the way your system should work.

Choose a rising-screen UST projector cabinet, a fixed-screen projector cabinet, or a TV and AV cabinet. We will help you narrow it down if you are not sure.

02

Projector and screen

Confirm that everything fits and aligns.

Aegis verifies your projector model, screen size, throw geometry, sightlines, ventilation, wiring, and room placement before production.

03

Style and features

Choose how the cabinet looks and lives.

Select the collection, finish, doors, storage, lighting, speaker integration, cooling, and custom options for your room.

04

Final verification

Approve the complete design before we build.

Review the cabinet, equipment layout, finishes, options, and technical fit with Aegis. Nothing moves into production until the system is verified.

Built around your room and equipment

Customize the cabinet around the way you live.

The core system is engineered. The furniture around it can still answer the architecture, the collection, the audio system, and the way the family actually lives.

Straight answers before you design

What most buyers need to know.

Aegis is made to order, but the buying path should feel simple. Start with the room and the outcome; we help verify the equipment and engineering.

01Which Aegis cabinet type is right for my room?

Start with what should remain visible when the system is off. Choose a rising-screen cabinet when both the screen and projector should disappear, a fixed-screen cabinet when the screen can stay on the wall, or a Prometheus TV cabinet when you want organized AV storage beneath a television.

02Will my ultra-short-throw projector fit?

Aegis is designed around adjustable UST positioning, but every system is still verified. We check your projector model, lens location, throw geometry, chassis size, ventilation, connections, screen size, and cabinet configuration before production.

03How does Aegis protect the equipment from heat and dust?

Sealed AV compartments use filtered, monitored airflow to move heat away from the equipment while limiting dust intrusion. Cooling, cable paths, service clearance, and access are planned as part of the cabinet rather than added afterward.

04What can I customize?

Choose the cabinet collection, finish, doors, legs or skirt, storage, lighting, speaker integration, cooling, and AV layout. Aegis can also plan extensions, record storage, fireplaces, and other room-specific details when the project calls for them.

05Do I need to know every technical detail before I begin?

No. Photos, basic room measurements, your preferred screen size, and any equipment you already own are enough to start. The Design Studio helps organize the choices, and an Aegis specialist verifies the technical fit with you.

06Where are Aegis cabinets made?

Aegis cabinets are designed and built to order in San Angelo, Texas. The company is veteran founded, U.S. patented, and supported by people who work with these systems every day.
