Our warranty reaffirms our commitment to providing our customers with quality products and outstanding service. Please read it before making a purchase.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Aegis AV Cabinets provides the original purchaser of Aegis AV Cabinets brand products with this Limited Warranty.* This warranty applies only under conditions of normal, indoor, residential or commercial use.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Aegis AV Cabinets products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and construction for five (5) year from receipt in the home or business. Individual electronic components are subject to their manufacture warranty. All thermostats, switches, lighting, and mechanical components come with a 48-month warranty to be free from defect and will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Aegis AV Cabinets. Cooling systems come with a 48-month warranty to be free from defect and will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Aegis AV Cabinets.
Showroom cabinets purchased by dealers are sold with an additional 12-month warranty so it can be shown for 12-months, and then sold with a full warranty. After 12-months from the date of delivery, the standard warranty will start. If dealers keep cabinets in their showroom longer than 12-months, the original cabinets warranty timing will start.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not apply to grain shift between door transitions, perception of view regarding any of the rendered images in the Aegis Cabinet Builder or Aegis Design Studio sections, and/or photographs (electronic or print).
This warranty does not apply to Aegis AV Cabinets products sold “as is” or purchased from a source other than Aegis AV Cabinets. Any product modification voids this warranty. Aegis AV Cabinets products are not warranted against normal wear and tear, damage resulting from improper use or installation, accidents, abuse, neglect, or damage or appearance changes resulting from improper care or storage. This warranty does not apply to damage or appearance changes related to the expansion and contraction of wood due to extremes in humidity or extreme heat and sunlight. This warranty does not apply to any problems that arise from outdoor use. Cabinets are intended to be used indoors in a climate controlled environment.
THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HERE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES, WARRANTIES, OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED HERE. IN NO EVENT SHALL AEGIS AV CABINETS BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES.
This warranty is valid only in the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii and only on Aegis AV Cabinets and their factory installed components.
YOUR RIGHTS
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusions and limitations on incidental and consequential damages or the limitations on implied warranties, so the described limitations may not apply to you. However, proper care and use are essential for preserving your rights under this warranty.
WARRANTY SERVICE
The sole remedy provided by Aegis AV Cabinets under this warranty will be to repair or replace the defective part or product or to issue a refund of the price paid. Aegis AV Cabinets reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy. If we decide to replace the defective item, only the defective item will be replaced. If we decide to replace a product we no longer sell, we will replace it with a comparable product. Refunds, if any, will be adjusted for the product’s use and age. OTHER PRODUCTS SOLD
Products of other manufacturers purchased through Aegis AV Cabinets are covered by that manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty of equipment sold that is not manufactured by Aegis AV Cabinets is subject to that manufacturer’s warrantee guidelines. Aegis is not responsible for any defects in other manufacturers equipment, nor accepts any liability for anything that arises from any claim. Any issues on other products sold must be addressed directly with the manufacturer of that component.
